Fontainebleau Miami Beach

During Fontainebleau Miami Beach’s  $1 billion Renovation in 2007, I creative directed and produced an editorial series inspired by the spirits of the Fontainebleau's history from the rat-packs partying days to Marylin Monroe’s dramatic entrances from the “Staircase to Nowhere” in the lobby.

Each photo encompassed couture and fine jewelry from the Ida and Harry’s collection.  This series celebrated the past while embracing the future of the iconic Miami Beach resort.

Creative Directing, Brand ID, Product Packaging, Product Campaign Ad Spots  

Working for Singular Sound was really exciting. The product is musically revolutionary allowing guitarist access to an abundance of percussion drum beats within a convenient pedal. I was inspired by the founders’ passion for technology that empowered musicians with a visual metronome, beats, and measures to create further than before. Here I developed brand ID, product packaging, art directed both Ad spots and developed a logo through one of the detailed thought processes of meaning I’ve ever undergone.

This brand was dynamic to work with. From producing two major ads on a remote location in the Caribbean, to developing product branding, and the identity for this Peruvian-Brazilian cross over product into the US Market. Every moment was an exploration of current wellness trends towards natural and holistic medicine with authentic founders focused on bringing their traditions into mainstream practice.

Norwegian Cruise Line traditionally uses over 4 different colors, brand elements, and copy. This campaign takes on an untraditional approach driven by a single concept, accent color, hyper-focused message. It’s an invitation to prospect and past guests to jump into a “NOW” moment - where their imagination is triggered by seeing themselves inside beautiful waterfront rails and ship spaces, iconic destinations, or one of a kind amenities. Configured for print, video, and digital.

Miami as a Creative and Entrepreneurial Hub: Creative Direction, Brand ID, Content Production, and Experiential Marketing

Our City Thoughts is a project of my own creation inspired by the intersection of public and private partnerships to promote an emerging arena for the greater Miami area. With funding from the Knight Foundation, I developed a brand ID, produced over 200 videos, and held over 30 experiential events to immerse patrons on the future of Miami as a hub for innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship.

Art Direction, Copy + Story Board 

Founding stories come in many shapes and forms. It takes founder’s with open-mindedness and a creative spirit to depict their story in such a colorway. With support from motion graphic artist, I scripted and art directed this amazing story of resilience, creativity, and technology.

Creative Director: Outdoor self standing doors with paper keys encouraging kindness in the urban core.

I created City Astronaut thanks to funding by 880Cities in Toronto, Canada.  The premise of the experiential installation of doors across all of Miami Dade County prompted everyday citizens to stop at the doors and create keys that described acts of kindess to complete strangers to read. Making for a collection of thousands of “keys” to the city and the minds of residents.

Miami Dade College

Miami Dade College is the largest higher ed institution in the United States. I was thrilled when I was asked to Creative Direct a campaign to onboard all eight campuses on social change making. The campaign supported the college's efforts to successfully become a leading designation school for social innovation in higher education by Ashoka.

TekFight was a blast to work on. It allowed me to create a total universe for the conference that attendants were able to immerse themselves in. From Brand ID and experiential events to collateral that incorporated the speakers as characters in the Dojo universe, everyone who attended felt like a ninja for at least once in their life.
